Saturday mornings
At Sol Collective in Coffs Harbour
An empty room glowing with fairy lights. People arrive, leaving their shoes at the door, chatting quietly. Within an hour their voices will be weaving harmonies together.
This is Harmonia, a singing circle where we learn the way humans have always learned songs- by ear, through simple repetition, letting our voices find each other naturally. No musical experience is needed, and no one sings alone.
Over five weeks, we step out of suburbia into a space where connection happens through song. I teach using loops and layered harmonies, a method that lets everyone find their voice without pressure or performance.
Singing in a group offers a way to belong. To fill a room with harmony. To remember what it feels like to create something together.
